Get a Lutari

Lutari Island Banner

Currently the only way to get a Lutari is from the Neopets Mobile Service. You pay real money to sign up then can visit Lutari Island on your phone to make a Lutari. Although there aren't currently any morphing potions, magical plushies or transmogrification potions available to transform one of your into a Lutari, you can transform a pet into one at the lab ray.

It is also impossible to adopt a Lutari from the pound. If you abandon a Lutari they just disappear. It is also not possible to transfer a Lutari between accounts.

In short, the only way to get a Lutari is to buy Neopets Mobile, or get lucky at the lab ray.

Spinacles Guide

Spinacles is a classic match three game with a twist. Obviously you need to match three of the same color but every time you hit a bubble, they spin around a center point. Depending on the angle you hit a bubble at, they spin more or less. If you cannot remove any bubbles in a turn the meter on the right decreases. If it hits zero than it's game over. Luckily there are some powerups to help you along the way.The powerups you gan get are: bomb, perimeter, free shot, and rainbow. They have the corresponding effects.

  • Bomb-explodes and clears spheres in a radius
  • Perimeter-clears spheres around the perimeter
  • Free Shot-provides a free shot that doesn't decrease the meter
  • Rainbow-will work with any color that it touches
Here are some tips to maximize your points.

1. Use powerups to your advantage. Don't waste a powerups on just a few bubbles, optimize your points by using it to your advantage depending on the situation.

2. Plan on where you will use the next bubble. Because you can see the next bubble one turn before it is used, plan on where you are going to use it.

3. Get more points by changing the amount of spin. Depending on where you hit a bubble the others will spin with a certain force and direction. Use this in your strategy.

This is one of those games that is time consuming but can be very fun and profitable. Highscores for this game are hard to achieve but if you stick with it you can get very good.

Newbie Guide

When you first join Neopets you might be confused. Here are the first steps to take in Neopia.

1. First you must create an account. Make a username that you like and a password that you can remember but is secure.

2. Next you need to create your first pet. You can see all of the pets available to choose from and then pick the one you like best. Name the pet you create something nice and cool that you like. It is advised not to use personal information in your pet's name.

3. Create a bank account. This is necessary to store your neopoints that you earn, and earn some interest too. At first deposit most of your money and choose the highest account available. Remember to update your account level when you get enough neopoints because it won't update it on its own. Then only keep out 10k-50k at a time, unless you are going to buy an expensive item.

4. Play your first games. Find some games that you are good at and can make some daily income from. Because playing games will be one of your main sources of neopoints, you have to find some that are very profitable for you.

5. Introduce yourself in the NeoBoards. If you get to know some other people in the realm of Neopia then you will be more familiar with the game as they can help you progress along the way.

6. Figure out a daily routine to earn neopoints. The best way to have a consistent income is to make a daily schedule. An example of a daily routine is the following.

  • All of the dailies here
  • Games
  • Stock Market
  • Auctions
  •  Job Agency
You can come up with your own list of ideas of things to do every day, or add on to these ideas.

These steps will help you get a better head start into your career in Neopia.

Extreme Herder 2 Guide

In Extreme Herder 2, you play as a Kacheek named Samrin. Your job is to "herd" the petpets into the fenced area. You pick petpets up with space and can set them down with space as well. You must do this without Balthazar eating the Samrin or the petpets. Unlike the older version, there is no time limit or time bonuses. You have three lives and you lose one if Balthazar eats you or a petpet. There are four powerups that you can get.

  • Apple- Makes all of the petpets go to one area. Pick it up, then place it in the spot.
  • Orange Crystal-Makes Samrin run faster
  • White Crystal-Freezes Balthazar
  • x2 Symbol- Lets you carry two petpets for an amount of time
Here are some tips to help you earn a better score.

1. Go for the powerups if they are close by. Different powerups will help you depending on the situation you are in.

2. Go for the pets close to Balthazar. If you save these pets quickly, then Balthazar won't have time to eat them.

3. Identify which sides are open at the beginning. As you go on to harder levels, some sides become shut off so you cannot place petpets through that side. If you know which ones are open in the beginning, you won't waste precious time going to an open gate.

4. Use the outsides to your gain. On each outer wall there is an opening that you can wrap around to the opposite side. Use these to get to the petpets quicker.

Because this game is the current Game Challenge, you can earn these special items for a limited time.

Kelp Restaurant

Welcome to Kelp, Sir

In the Kelp Restaurant in Maraqua anyone can go there to buy food. This is definitely not the most cost efficient way to feed your pets. The main reason people go there is for this avatar.

Bon Appétit

The way you get this avatar is to take home leftovers from the restaurant. You can only take extra food home when your pet cannot eat all of it. Before you go there make sure you're pet is already bloated to have a better chance on getting the avatar. The choice of food has no effect on the amount your pet can eat so pick the cheapest ones. You must pick one food from each category below.
